About Us -

In a time when we were all facing creeping fuel prices, increasing entry fees, and all of the other items that go into putting on a dog show, the Sierra-Tuolumne and Yosemite Kennel Clubs joined up in 2007 to host the 1st Annual Gold Rush Cluster. 

This was a huge undertaking by both Clubs, since neither Club really knew members in the other Club!!  So, we decided to meet and see if we could get along, had the same ideas, goals, and philosophies for putting on a dog show.  Both Clubs felt that combining our two shows to make it more economical for the exhibitor, was the only way each Club could continue hosting AKC All Breed Dog Shows. 

So, with a handshake and a written agreement, we ventured out to host the 1st Annual Gold Rush Cluster in 2007.  And we haven't looked back!
